Clean Communities of WNY was established as a Clean Cities coalition in 1994, and incorporated as a 501c3 non-profit in 2000,
CCWNY for 25 years has partnered with both public and private fleet managers, owners and operators to evaluate and implement alternative fuels.
CCWNY is funded by the US DOE, stakeholders and outreach contracts....
Clean Communities of WNY is an alternative fuel neutral organization dedicated to helping fleets identify and implement alternative fuels as part of a sustainable fleet fueling strategy.
Clean Cities advances the nation's economic, environmental, and energy security by supporting local actions to reduce petroleum consumption in transportation. A national network of nearly 100 Clean Cities coalitions brings together stakeholders in the public and private sectors to deploy alternative and renewable fuels, idle-reduction measures, fuel economy improvements, and emerging transportation technologies.
